From Montpellier, France to Sydney, Australia, Dr. Mendez has carved out a dynamic career in electronic music, blending French House, Afro, and Latin House into a signature groove that moves crowds worldwide.

With 20+ years behind the decks, a PhD in his pocket, and a deep love for music, he has become a force in Australia's electronic scene. His journey has earned him releases and support from icons like Jamie Jones, Sasha, Dimitri From Paris, Harry Romero, John Summit, Aaron Sevilla, Kasango, NItefreak, Moblack, Low Steppa, Natalia Paris, Francis Mercier, Chus, and more. A defining moment in his career came with the signing of ‘Acapulco’ on Roger Sanchez’s Stealth Records, cementing his place on stage.

Now a Café del Mar resident DJ, Dr. Mendez delivers infectious grooves, deep vocals, and powerful drums that fit every setting from warm-ups to peak-time sets and after-hours sessions.

In 2019, Dr. Mendez launched Warehouse Radio, an underground platform born from a passion for keeping the music alive during club closures. What started as a SoundCloud podcast quickly grew into a thriving creative hub, bringing together DJs, producers, and music lovers to share sounds, stories, and the energy of the underground scene.

In 2025, he took it a step further by co-founding Movement Group alongside Almared, his long-time friend — turning years of shared dancefloors, late-night visions, and creative instincts into a platform built to move people, not just entertain them.

Movement is more than a promoter: it’s a culture-driven project that curates immersive electronic music experiences across Australasia , spanning Afro House, organic, melodic, house, and Latin sounds always with the same obsession for energy, storytelling, and human connection. With Movement, Mendez stepped fully into his role as a curator: bridging local and global sounds, building rooms where communities meet, and creating moments where the crowd feels like one organism.
